PPR Male Socket

PPR is a new type of energy-saving pipeline product, which mainly has the following characteristics:

1) Lightweight:

the density is 0.91g/cm3, PPR pipe fittings are only one-ninth of steel pipes and one-tenth of copper pipes. Due to its lightweight, it can greatly reduce transportation costs and installation and construction strength.

2) Hygienic and non-toxic green building materials:

PPR pipe fittings are polyolefin thermoplastics, whose molecules are only composed of carbon and hydrogen, do not contain harmful and toxic elements, and have reliable hygienic performance.

3) Energy-saving products with heat resistance and heat preservation:

PPR pipe fittings have a Vicat heat resistance temperature of 131.3°C. Under certain working pressure and a working temperature of 70°C, it can be used for a long time (more than 50 years), and the maximum working temperature is 95°C. Fully meet the requirements of the hot water system specified in the building water supply and drainage design specifications.

4) Good thermal insulation performance:

it has good thermal insulation performance. Compared with metal pipes, it can save a lot of insulation materials and energy when used in hot water and heating systems.

5) Hot-melt connection, safe and reliable:

PPR pipe has good hot-melt performance. The hot-melt connection between pipes and fittings of the same PPR material is a fusion of molecules with no obvious interface. The connection of the entire pipeline system becomes a whole, so the hot melt connection of this method is more reliable than other pipeline solvent bonding, mechanical connection, and elastic seal socket connection.

6) Good corrosion resistance:

except for a few oxidants, it can withstand the erosion of various chemical media, will not rust, will not corrode, will not breed bacteria, and will not produce electrochemical corrosion.

7) Small water flow resistance:

The inner wall of PPR pipe fittings is smooth and will not scale. The wear resistance is only 0.007, which is far lower than that of metal pipes. The water flow capacity is 30% higher than that of metal pipes of the same specification.

8) It is a green product

PPR pipe fittings do not pollute the environment during production, construction, and use, and will not cause white pollution problems. It is a green product.
